Blizzard Nostalgia

Starcraft II and Diablo III, both were given to me from my sister. I hardly play games these days, because whenever I play games I’d start thinking about the time that could be used elsewhere. I played Diablo III recently just out of the nostalgia because me and my sister used to play a lot together. It was sure nice back in the days when we had less worries in life and could just enjoy. Of course it was Diablo II that we used to play, about 8 or 9 years ago(gosh, time sure flies quickly). But, I got bored of Diablo III quickly as it doesn’t bring me back the feeling we played together. We used to play Starcraft I and Diablo II a lot, well we also played Ragnarok but I was never as good as her in RPG games. I’m more of a strategic gamer.

There have always been many unfortunate things in my family, it has never been a happy one. Nonetheless, one thing I feel fortunate about is the bond between me and my sister. Though, we both should move on to our life.

Forget the sentimental stuff, lets talk about the differences between Diablo II and III. First of all, III displays impressive graphics as expected. However, one thing I don’t like about is the skills and specs, there’s no customization any more. Argumentatively, the good thing about it is that you’d never add the wrong points to the undesired skills or specs, in other words, you’d never need to retrain a character if you made a mistake. But to me, it kind of just lost the individuality in the game. Then there’s only equipment left to make a difference among the characters with the same job and level. Cinematography is really good though, I really enjoyed watching each clip. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the how storyline will turn out when its expansion comes out.
