I found this old set of photos that were taken earlier this year in January. It was an event held at Harbourfront and sponsored primarily by CIBC for the Chinese New Year. Every now and again, I’d usually have nothing to do on traditional holidays since my family never really do anything, so I just hang out with the zero alliance and took these photos.

All the pictures here were taken using Lumix GF1 with 20mm f1.7. Although the micro 4/3 system isn’t supposed to work well under low light condition, these pictures turned out okay to me. Further more, I shot everything in JPGs by accidents(I forgot to switch to RAW in the setting) so I only did minimum amount of editing, which also inspired me that perhaps I should shoot JPG more as an exercise so that I’d try my best to get everything right in the camera instead of relying on the post processing (not sure if this is the right attitude for being serious in photography).
